Musical-rhythmic intelligence:

the ability to perform musically or to compose music, to think in musical patterns with further manipulation

Музичний інтелект - це здатність розрізняти крок, ритм, тембр і тон. Даний тип представлений здатністю сприймати (шанувальник), розпізнавати (музичний критик), трансформувати (композитор) й виражати (виконавець) музичні композиції. На уроках іноземної мови розвиток такого типу інтелекту відбувається під час прослуховування музичних композицій, уривків мелодій, проспівування пісень, написання віршів, приговорювання джазових ритмів. Нині все це надзвичайно ефективно реалізовується за допомогою сучасних засобів навчання.

2.  Animal noises

The teacher sticks the flashcards of the farm animals on the board and teaches the noises they make with the help of audios. (e.g. duck – quack, cow – moo, dog – woof, cat – miaow, sheep – baa, etc.). The teacher says the first two lines of the rhyme and demonstrates that the children should respond by saying the second two lines. Then the procedure is repeated for all the animals. It is also possible to work in groups/pairs.

Listen to the sounds and match them to how you would feel. Have you ever experiences any of these? What sounds make you frightened, excited, angry, etc.? Why? Share your ideas.
