Family break up harms children
more than rowing parents
Every year many families around the
world break up. Different conflicts that appear in the families in the majority
of cases lead to the divorce. In my opinion, children are the greatest victims
in such situations.
Of course, children suffer when their
parents are in conflict, but I’m convinced that they suffer much more if the
family breaks up. A series of disruptions and changes in the family seems to be
not so cruel as the parting. When a child sees the rowing parents, he or she
may dream of one day when the situation will be cleared up and everything will
turn to the better. The most important thing for them, to my mind, is that the
parents remain together and the family is intact.
Furthermore, a child who lives with both
parents is more 'prestigious' among the other children than that with only one.
It is my view that children whose families had broken up are more likely to
suffer from low-esteem, difficulties with friends or at school. It strikes me
that parents don’t realize that while they may have problems with each other,
children often have good relationships with both parents and they lose that
when the family splits up.
On the other hand, children who live in
the families with difficult rows and conflicts also may have some health,
educational and social difficulties. Regular cries always keep children in
tension and they appear to be involuntary witnesses of different situations and
talks instead of being off out of such relationships. I believe that in such
cases a child’s burning desire is to live a quiet life – with both parents or
just one of them.
To sum it up, I definitely think that
whatever the situation parents should think, first of all, about their
children, defending their interests and taking into account their desires. One
should remember that to build something new is always much more difficult than
to destroy something old and nobody knows whether the new will be the better.
Even though its easy to forget at times, family is the most important thing in the world. This could mean your mother, your father, your grandparents, your aunts, your uncles, your cousins, your in-laws – but for some, its simply those with whom we share unconditional love.

Undoubtebly, every child should have both parents. It's always stress for children when parents break up. Peace & love!
